ReCon is reaching out to wall design engineers, thru the more »
ReCon has increasingly been the design choice for retaining wall water applications because of its proven durability and ease of installation. The density, air content, and air distribution of wet cast concrete make it naturally more durable in harsh environments, including applications where the retaining wall blocks are submerged in water, exposed to chlorides or exposed to repeated freeze thaw cycles (or a combination of all three). ReCon produces a mass gravity retaining wall block without steel reinforcement, making them less susceptible to the effects of corroding steel reinforcement. The ability of ReCon to be constructed as a gravity retaining wall allows for rapid installation and reduces the footprint of the retaining wall and thus reduces the impact of the installation.
